The paintjob:

After all the grinding and hard work it was time to paint the valve cover. At first I had to degrease the valve cover. I used some brake cleaner spray witch worked out perfect. After the valve cover was degreased it was time to put the first layer of primer on.  When the first layer of primer was dry I could see the last remaining bumps on the valve cover. So I decided to grind it again to 'shave' these last bumps away. Now the Valve cover was as smooth as I wanted, it was time to put another 2 layers of primer on.

For a long time I knew witch color the valve cover needed to become, green!

So when the primer was dry, I could finally put the first layer of green paint on the valve cover.

I've put on 3 layers of green metallic paint, and 3 layers of clear varnish paint to get to this result.
